As promised before, we are making some improvements in our
production to help preserve Nature in our events.
For this festival we came up with a nice and friendly action to
encourage all participants to embrace the cause and help our beautiful
mother Land.
We will be giving to every participant a nylon bin bag at the entrance of
the event, upon a deposit of 20 nis, that wil be given back to every
individual that returns his nylon bag full with his own garbage.
For more information about how you can make a difference just
take a look at the subjects on the side.
Less pollution and more conscience!
Three-way recycle bins will be placed in strategic areas to recycle glass, plastic and paper. We'll send the collected garbage to recycling stations after the end of the event.
There will be enough signalisation on the premises indicating the location of these trash containers, and there will also be enough regular garbage cans spread all over the festival so you can help out.
We would like to appeal people to respect this initiative and participate of it. Specially for those camping - put your trash in the trash!
Preserving and saving Water
Try not to waste water when taking showers.
Bring biodegradable soaps and shampoos, that are less hazardous to nature because they contain less chemicals. And they are better for your skin too!
The festival is in a location at the sea so be very careful not to leave personal goods and garbage in the sand so the sea won't wash it away. You won't loose your stuff and the ocean will thank you for not getting dirtier.
One of the biggest causes of the Global Warming is the emission of Carbon Dioxide (CO2). Carbon Dioxide is liberated/generated in numerous human activities, but the one that concerns us here is: driving!
The burning of fuels releases carbon dioxide (CO2) into the atmosphere and contributes to climate change, but these emissions can be reduced by improving your car's fuel efficiency.
Some tips to reduce the emission of CO2 and make you save a bit of money on fuel:
1. Get your friends together and drive in one car instead of two or three. You're gonna have company to laugh on the way and save money by sharing the cost of the tank!
2. To improve fuel economy, go easy on the brakes and gas pedal, avoid hard accelerations and unload unnecessary items in your trunk to reduce weight. If you have a removable roof rack and you are not using it, take it off to improve your fuel economy by as much as 5 percent. Use overdrive and cruise control on your car if you have those features.
3. A well-maintained car is more fuel-efficient, produces fewer greenhouse gas emissions, is more reliable, and is safer!
4. Check your tire pressure regularly. Under-inflation increases tire wear, reduces your fuel economy by up to 3 percent and leads to higher greenhouse gas emissions and releases of air pollutants.
Get tuned to the actions that are being taken all over the world - and JOIN
the effort!
